Rubber joint and pipe connection

The rubber joint is connected with the pipe flange, the bolt, the screw should be tightened, the extension of the pipe flange, must be symmetrical, in order to prevent compression or expansion of the thread will force the rubber joint to damage the process of each side of the joint part, increase the fixing bolt tightening force, in addition to the special need to increase the flat pad. Spring washers must be added to prevent the nuts from loosening. When the rubber joint is closed or opened in water (oil), it is often used. In order to reduce the length of the rubber joint, which has too great an impact on the compression pump and pipeline, restrictive moving devices should be added to the flanges at both ends.

The production process of rubber joints is very complex and needs to go through multiple processes to complete. First of all, it is necessary to select high-quality rubber materials for processing and molding. Then, steel wire or wire rope is added inside the rubber to enhance its tensile strength and pressure resistance. After hot pressing, vulcanization and other processes, so that rubber and steel wire closely combined to form an integrated.

The function of installing the rubber joint at the pump outlet is: first, to reduce vibration, second, to meet the needs of thermal expansion and contraction, and third, to facilitate the disassembly and maintenance of the valve; Specific installation sequence: rubber connector, check valve, gate valve. The pressure gauge is best installed at the outlet of the pump, but must be in front of the check valve. Gate valves do not work often during normal operation, and check valves work frequently, so there is a high possibility of maintenance. During repair, the pump outlet pipe gate valve can be closed to repair, without affecting the normal operation of the system. The pressure gauge is installed in front of the check valve to prevent water impact and damage to the pressure gauge.
