How to distinguish between concentric and eccentric large and small heads of reducing rubber joints

Concentric Reducer Rubber Expansion Joint

Concentric reducing rubber joints, based on their own design advantages, can solve the problem of inconsistent left and right diameters during pipeline connections. Due to the use of special rubber materials in production, this rubber joint has good pressure resistance, noise reduction, and noise reduction functions. Commonly used for connecting water pumps, fire pipes, and water supply and drainage systems. It is a solution for shock absorption and thermal expansion and contraction caused by changes in pipeline diameter (different connected diameters). The main feature of concentric reducing rubber joints is that they can solve the problem of different diameters when connecting metal pipes, and also have the function of shock absorption and noise reduction, which can save pipeline installation parts and reduce costs.

It consists of an inner rubber layer, reinforced with nylon curtain fabric, a rubber sphere with an outer rubber layer composite, and a loose metal flange. Used for plumbing and ventilation pipelines, water supply and drainage and circulating water pipelines, refrigeration pipelines, anti-corrosion pipelines, fire protection and compressor pipelines in various industries such as construction, factories and mines, chemical industry, petroleum, etc. Used for vibration isolation, noise reduction, and displacement compensation in the protection and management of pipeline engineering systems.

Eccentric reducing rubber joint head: It is used to prevent cavitation, and the inlet head of the pump should generally be installed flat to prevent the accumulation of gas phase in the pipeline at the pump port, forming large bubbles that can enter the pump chamber and damage the pump. Only in one case can it be installed flat on the bottom. That is the bend that directly connects the big and small heads upwards. In this case, the gas phase cannot accumulate. Pump pipeline installation concentric reducing joint: There is a difference between the pump outlet DN and the outer pipeline system, which is used for concentric reducing large and small heads. It can achieve straight connection of two pipes with different sizes and realize pipe diameter changing fittings. The elongation or compression of rubber joints in the direction of fluid flow (i.e. the central axis direction).

Eccentric Reducer Rubber Expansion Joint

Eccentric reducing rubber joints and concentric reducing pipes have different functions. Used to prevent corrosion caused by media in pipelines. They are usually installed at the top to prevent the gas phase in the pipeline from accumulating at the pump port, forming large bubbles that can enter the pump chamber, damage the pump, or damage pipeline components due to other pipeline connections.
