The existence of the draft tube can play a very good role in wear-resisting some media such as pulp and mud, and prevent the ripple compensator from blasting in use.
In order to reduce the fluid resistance at the ripple compensator, a flow guide cylinder can be set inside the compensator. One end of the flow guide cylinder in the direction of body flow is welded with the pipeline, and the other end can be freely retracted. The thickness of the flow guide cylinder of the compensator should not be less than 2mm, not more than the thickness of the ripple, and the length should exceed the length of the ripple.
The draft tube can guide the flow in the compensator, reduce the structural vibration of the bellows caused by high-speed fluid, and protect the bellows.
